This weekend was completely uneventful. I loved it
I worked on Saturday morning. Mike went to an estate sale and cut up our pumpkin from Halloween. We're just a bit behind. I was going to just throw it out, but he was ambitious. We ended up with two pies and seventeen bags of pumpkin ready for more pie. Anyone want some?
Josie loves pumpkin. No sugar, salt, or pepper needed. Gross??
We tried another church this weekend and really liked it. We also got there an hour early and just sat around. #awkward
Christmas is in two weeks!
I haven't wrapped presents yet. Someone get me motivated.
I'm back, YMCA gym. Bring it! The two week hiatus is officially over and I am ready to get a beating.
I got new jeans and they are cheap, cute, and not maternity pants! I emphasize this because buying pants post pregnancy has not happened. I felt so much better immediately and now only want to wear jeans. I have missed this sweet sweet feeling. I used to only like to wear jeans but the last year made that tough since the usual pairs didn't fit.
Ok well have a great week bloggy world!

Weekend Update
We got to spend half of the weekend at the new lake place this weekend. I'm already completely in love with this place. Its homey and lovely. My parents got some serious Josie time in and I was smart enough to document some of it.
I tried to get some cute shots of Josie just hanging out next to a Christmasy stuffed bear but she was more interested in the block (made by my grandma for me when I was a kid).
We spent some quality time with my grandma and grandpa and Josie was on her best behavior showing off all of her tricks like sitting, standing, getting in her crawl position. ITS TRUE she's getting so close to crawling.
It was a great first half to the weekend!

Autumn lake visits...first of many
I would say that this was one of the last weekends at the lake, but we all know that we will be out there almost every weekend for the next couple of months packing, moving, unpacking, fixing up and enjoying the new place. And when the placed is a mess, we'll just go home! Can't wait to get started. Yay new lake place. :)
This weekend, Grandpa and his wife Carla came to meet Josie. It was a quick trip but we were able to catch up and enjoy the (chilly but) beautiful weather.
My aunt Lynne (upper corner in picture below, bet she's going to love that) also came and brought her own baby, Lucy, who rules the pack of dogs (Buckley and my parent's dog Hannah) by methods of intimidation and threats. We don't know for sure what she is saying when barking and attacking, but it can't be all that friendly. She knows how to lay the smack down.
We (and by we I mean me) brainstormed all weekend on what Josie should call my parents. Mike's parents are Grandma and Grandpa, and I like the idea of having different names for all of them. I grew up having what felt like a million grandparents and it could be oh so confusing. We tried Norwegian (Mor Far?? or something like that) and German (don't remember, but it was strange) and my mom even pulled out some French. Yeah right. In the end, I settled on Grammy and Poppa or Boppa (we'll let Josie decide) and everyone better like it! So let's all join together and make these names stick.
And another week begins...

Best word for her: fierce |
It's so exhausting being three months old |
Bundled up and ready for the walk |

Cleaning out the garage (completely overwhelming, right?) for the big move down the road! |
Can you even resist this face? |
Nope, I can't resist it. |
Shake, oh, good dog! |
Oh, good thing this bottle is here so I can rest my arm |
Who, me? What am I doing? Oh just hanging out... |
Does this remind anyone of the cranberry juice commercials? |

Weeeeekends are my favorite
Another weekend at the lake.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather.
We went to a rodeo and had tons of fun taking pictures and laughing at Josie's mishaps (oh dirty diapers on awkward public places!)
We had some Zorbaz take out.
We enjoyed the company of my family (Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle)
LOVE weekends like this. :)

Cowboy hat would be more appropriate but this is pretty cute too |
Rodeos make me tired... |
