This morning I
dragged was pulled by Buckley on a walk while the weather was beautiful and the bugs were done with their morning devour. Josie was asleep, Mike was still in bed, and Buck and I were enjoying the day at 6:30 AM. I put in 2 miles alternating between running and walking and it felt
so good. I had run the other day when my mom was up (we started as a walk and I tried it out) and realized it was mostly mental and I was perfectly capable. Mind you, I knew this but its nice to confirm it. I digress. This morning's run was encouraging. I used the length of the songs to push me along since I need goals set even by myself or I can't improve. I ran for 2 songs and walked for 1 a couple of times and then ended with a power walk the length of 2 songs. What were the songs? Only the greatest songs ever from Train's album
Save me San Francisco. I love that album!! It has so many different types of songs that match different speeds of running. I'm a nerd like that and notice the little things. If a song has a great chorus, I use that to push me a long faster. If it is slower, I use it to catch my breath. Black Eyed Peas albums are also great for this.
Yesterday, I had Josie laying on the floor, first on her tummy, then on her back. We were "playing" as I like to call it and I decided to just start snapping pictures. Here is what I got:
Oh look who decided to wake up!
Lets get a closer look at that.

Sometimes it is just as much fun to imagine what she must be thinking as it is to capture all these expressions.
Entertainment at its finest!
Congratulations on running, I am so impressed. And I can't believe you got pix of her smiling, what a treasure. . it's so obviously not gas this time. With her eyes open, I thought she looked like a different person, and then with the smile, I just couldn't study them enough. Enjoy the shower Sat.
