Where's Alice?

I got a bit of a cleaning bug yesterday. After spending the morning at a nice clean house, coming home to mine made me feel less than great. I looked around at the dirty floors, clutter counter tops, and fingerprinted windows and just knew what needed to be done. So, I put the little girly girl down for her nap and went to work.

I vacuumed the rug, swept and mopped, cleaned all of the surfaces, cleaned the windows, and put away all of the junk sitting around. Afterwards, I sat on the couch and felt my muscles tense up from all of that activity. Now before you think I'm a huge wimp, please remember that our whole upper floor, stairs and part of the lower level is hard surface flooring. That means I cleaned all of it...twice. That's no small thing, hence the reason it hardly ever gets done.

The saddest part? When I looked around from my spot on the couch, it didn't look all that different. 

Oh cleaning, how you are not satisfying at all.

Hubby threw together this ensemble for bed. Isn't she cute in her Christmas top and too small pants?
